Neither Bachmann or Perry have a chance. Quit worrying people.

Another thing to be consiered is Michelle Bachmann's statement that she is "submissive" to her husband. That makes me wonder if Michelle Bachmann or Marcus Bachmann would be the real president of the United States should Michelle Bachmann win the election. Or would there be a co-presidency like there was a co-governorship in Alaska. This is NOT a scenario I want to see happen.

    About that...

*'Bachmann's husband got $137,000 in Medicaid funds' - By Michael Isikoff - MSNBC - 06/28/2011

*'FACT CHECK: Bachmann bomblets raising eyebrows' - By Jim Drinkard - AP - Published by DSNews - 06/28/11

'WASHINGTON Michele Bachmann's claim that she has "never gotten a penny" from a family farm that's been subsidized by the government is at odds with her financial disclosure statements. (sic) The farm, which was owned by her father-in-law, produced income for Bachmann of at least $32,500 and as much as $105,000 from 2006 through 2009, according to the reports she filed for that period. The farm also received federal crop and disaster subsidies, according to a database maintained by the Environmental Working Group. From 1995 through 2010, the farm got $259,332 in federal payments.'

This claim would be more impressive WITHOUT the over $300,000 of my tax payer money.

She wants to default the debt and bankrupt the United States. Rick Perry wants to foment another civil war by having Texas attempt to secede from the United States. And they both want to run for president of the United States. What is wrong with this picture?

Isn't that sweet, all with the financial assistance of the federal government.

According to Wikipedia, Michelle Bachman's small business receives large amounts of its income from state, and federal government contracts. Doesn't sound like Bachman has worked out all the details in her "anti-government" philosophy quite yet.

Hmmm. . .running a small business, running the United States--not exactly the same thing. I wonder if she thought it was okay to default on the debt of her small business?
