Poor finishing, but glad to see more develop on the ground rather than useless crosses..
RSL controlled the game, no one could get that one last touch to put the chances away. Hopes of a Supporter's Shield are slipping away.
No question in my mind that RSL outplayed Toronto, but they just couldn't finish their numerous scoring chances.
RSL missed an opportunity to gain 2 points on both Dallas and Seattle and 3 points on LA. Instead the lose 1 point to Dallas and Seattle and 3 points to Colorado.
With 8 of the final 12 on the road RSL will need to return to their 2010 road form or they will likely find themselves in one of the wildcard spots.
There was one bright spot in the game, the moment when Paulo Jr. entered the game.
Current table (combined east and west) in terms of points per match:
LA Galaxy 1.92
FC Dallas 1.72
Seattle Sounders FC 1.68
Real Salt Lake 1.64
Columbus Crew 1.54
Colorado Rapids 1.54
Philadelphia Union 1.48
RSL would have been in second place with 1.77 points per match if they had won yesterday...
