We need Davies back so we can carry on and build on the Dave Rose experience!
Thats pretty cool for these kids to do this. Even though the NCAA allows it, I don't see a lot of schools doing this. It's good for BYU and hope they can get some coverage nationally (ESPN highlights of the friendlies?).
Talk about exposure for BYU athletics! BYU truly is an international brand.
Why isn't Davies traveling???? How much "Penance" does this kid have to do? I am hoping that we are not turning a positive experience for Davies and the university into a negative one.

I expect Brandon to be cleared to return to the team sometime soon after the fall semester starts.

We went to see a family member's plaque in the student study section of Legacy Hall. Last player out was Brandon Davies in a white shirt and tie.
He was very positive and upbeat.
I'm guessing there are more people that don't understand the process "worried" about Brandon, than Brandon.
People talk about the "BYU" experience. I never had the BYU experience, never wanted it.
Yet, I have a ton of respect for their athletics.
That being said, I would guess that Brandon is having a very special experience, one that will last him his whole life.
The kid will get to Greece someday, if he wants.
For now, he seems intent on being the best "student athlete" that he can be.
Why not let him?
Great experience for these young men. Even for those who've been overseas on missions.
Glad to see BYU taking advantage of overseas play as often as allowed. With BYUtv being international, doing this often also helps BYU's international brand.
This little excursion will tell us a little bit of what life after Jimmer will be like.
Maybe Abouo and Hartsock CAN become team leaders on the floor with great Senior seasons.
Probably not much of a chance but it would be neat if these game in Europe were televised. I have a feeling Rogers will emerge as a go to guy. He is very offensive minded, Abuo should show alot more offense this year too. I'm hoping Davies ends up being the leading scorer for this yrs team, that would be neat and a good ending to this scenario. Although Davies may have NBA potential and if that happened it would just add to this story.
BYU did great in France 5 years ago winning EVERY game, while utah lost EVERY game in Australia. My point?
BYU needs to bring some Greece home to aid utah in a time of need.
Boom.
