This year feels so much better without the dual quarterback issues of last year.
Depth, speed, intensity, focus, fun, can you feel it?
It is a great time to be a cougar!
Rise and shout!
It will be great to actually watch the games on ESPN in HD no less, this year. It will be nice for fans all over to be able to see every BYU game this season. Regardless of how the season turns out, I will be able to see it and not have to wait for the score or listen to KSL over the internet.
I knew the RB's were going to have a productive year with the strength of the O line and their experience, but if we have a FB on the same level as Tonga the running game moves to a whole new level.
Every year we have a couple of unexpected surprises during the pre-season. In the past, we needed those surprises to fill some holes. This year, the surprises are adding to the strength, talent and depth that's already in place.
I'm feeling a little better about the TE's already. I don't think we'll see Pitta productivity from them, but they should be be 3 or 4 times more effective than last year. I can see 8 - 10 TD's from this group in '11.
I'm still concerned about the DB's. Sorensen seems to have established himself, but the other three positions are up in the air. Hopefully the other players establish themselves quickly, now that the pads are on. The good news . . . I don't think Ole Miss will test the DB's much in week 1. I'm not sure how much Texas will throw. We know that Wynn will not be throwing deep.
"Quarterback Jake Heaps struggled . . . completing only 1-of-3 passes. Heaps threw his first interception of fall camp"
Uh-oh! All the cougies fixated on Jordan Wynn's rehab had better start lighting some candles for St. Jake.
Cougars vs Texas; utes vs Montana St. Both Utah teams will struggle to win their openers.

Nice. You may want to re check BYU's schedule, you'll see that they open up at Mississippi.
Your sarcasm didn't work.
LOL
