Cool.

Go Cougars!

Sounds like heaps was out played by the other 8 QB's today. It must be dishearting to branka to see his Heisman shoe-in throw a bad pick ( almost two).

Might want to think about the red shirt or mission option.

Oh boy. 1-3 for 9 yards? I smell a quarterback controversy!!

Can someone tell me why the Cougars ALWAYS report the stats from each practice? Do the Cougars scrimage every day or something? There are never reports on player stats from Utah practices unless it's a scrimage. If they are reporting the practice stats, I'm not sure how anyone can put any stock in the reported numbers.

Don't think a married 20 year old can go on a mission. You and Binghanalum need to compare notes on that one.

Hey hedgehodge. Wasting more time on BYU articles? Shouldn't you be commenting about 'Jack' Murphy on Ute articles? Let us know how Harlod Langi is doing as the #1 RB. How is Justin Wynn's shoulder? Is Brad Blechen OK after that bee stung him? Is Kent Whittingham still playing loud music at practice? Come on man, you need to keep us updated on everything Utes.

ute4ever. Let me report your stats for Wynn. 0 for 0, but his shoulder is fine. Don't you wish Terrance Cain had eligibility? I sure do. Hedgie was telling me that Jack Murphy looked good and they were going to move him to QB.

Love how HH self'recommends' his post right away...typical ute.

From the article: 'the o-line provided some gaping holes for the running backs

So, this means either the o-line is great and the d-line is not so great, or the d-line is great and the o-line is super great? Anyone know how the defensive line is shaping up?

H-hog: thanks for your recommendations for the BYU football program. No doubt your views will be taken into consideration, and acted upon soon. What a valuable resource you are. 5 weeks from Saturday, buddy.

You don't hear stats from Ute practice because Christina Wynn doesn't ever play. She usually is getting a pedicure and hairstyle on the side lines. Oh and fakes shoulder soreness so she doesn't have to get hit. Real Gutsy ha ha

Hedgy...you better worry about your Utes...your quarterback didn't even throw yesterday...is his arm still hurting??? You have no back up and according to one of the coaches (Ute) if he goes down, your in trouble...and with the young poor offensive line you have...there are dark clouds on the horizon...Montana State could lay him out for the year...

But, not to worry, you are more concerned with BYU (I know, a closet fan)

Have a nice day...

So if we take Jake's stats for the week as a series of plays in the first half of a game, Jake has thrown for about 300+ yards and four touchdowns, and one pick.

And your point was?

From your own post:

Can someone tell me why ute trolls ALWAYS comment on BYU articles? Do they read BYU articles everyday or something? There are never any good stats from Utah practices. If they are reporting the practice stats, I'm not sure how anyone can put any stock in ute trolls comments.

Jake will be just fine. The only controversy is who took hanna montana's shoulder and put it on Jordyn Wynn's?

This is just the ebbs and flows of fall camp. Heaps has had an excellent camp so far, the defense stepped it up today in the back field. The o-line was dominant but the d-line will have their day too.

What is going on with Drew Phillips? I have not read one thing about him lately

I like to think that the defense is getting better and they responded today. I hope this means the secondary is improving.

Drew Phillips is joining the team on the first day of school. I guess he is missing fall camp while he gets grades figured out.

The Ute's will dominate the Cougar's for the fourth year in a row! Why do you even have a team if it lose's to the Ute's so much!!

Re: faninstgeorge

GEORGE IS STILL RUNNING!!!

And blocking a field goal to hold off Heaps and the 6-5 Cougars? Good one buddy

BYUCOLORADO

They say that Heaps pick came out of McKay Jacobsen's hands. They said his other pass could have been picked of by Uona. Not a great day, then again, three passes isn't a very representative sample size.

@UteFanInStGeorge
Fourth year in a row of Ute domination? You have a bad memory. We have split the past six games in football. We have won 9 of the past 11 games in basketball. Check the stats before you speak. We have pretty much split games during the tenures of Bronco and Kyle. UteFanInStGeorge must really be a BYU fan trolling as a Ute fan to make Ute fans look bad.

@ute4ever

"Can someone tell me why the Cougars ALWAYS report the stats from each practice?"

Because BYU actually has fans that care and understand football.

You wouldn't know what that is like as a ute...

Go Cougars!
