Part of me thinks 'the guy's crazy if he thinks he'll take Hatch off the throne!'
The other part thinks 'no, if it will ever happen it would have to be now. Waiting would 'settle him' too much.'

I'm not saying he'd be better or worse than Hatch, but I do think it would obviously be a risky to try to take Hatch down.
Fifty people? Did Chaffetz explain to this modest mob about how his TP plan would have helped avert the nation's debt downgrade, or doesn't that matter as much as the next election?
How did they hold the FIFTY people back from rushing the stage? Whew!
I guess Mark B and CHS 85 don't know that 50 is about the entire population of Castle Dale.
Actually there are 1500 people in Castle Dale and 10,600 in Emery County. There are another 20,000 in Carbon County.
Spin it however you want, but 50 out of 10K citizens is not exactly a barn-burner.
Chaffetz, who voted against both Boehners first proposal and the final bill, said he was well aware of how the leadership had used his and others willingness to let a default happen as a negotiating chip, and said he didnt mind at all. We werent kidding around, either, he said. We would have taken it down.
Chaffetz would have defaulted.
Chaffetz was willing to harm this country.
Not getting my vote. I prefer a candidate who doesn't cross his fingers behind his back while swearing to protect and defend this nation.
