Keep practicing. Not sure what to expect but we expect a lot. Go Utes!

And the utes will put up 3 points in this years Vegas Bowl, no matter what conference they play in!

Viva Las Vegas utah! Nothing like a good old rematch as the #5 seed from the Pac12 playing Boise State again.

26-3.

cougar_independence,

It's interesting how you can't read a comment board in the Deseret News on the Utes without some comment by a byu fan dissing on the Utes. Yet, according to Max Hall, it's the Utes who are classless.

Is it any wonder that byu fans drive the rest of the world crazy?

Enjoy your exciting games against the lower tier of the WAC.

Lets hope they prepare as well as they have in the past. Given the MWC in the past few years have been at least as good as the PAC-12 and at the top better. The media constantly drums the mantra of "the conference of champions", step-up in competition, etc. to describe what was and is a one team conference. Mr. Scott with his excellent leadership is trying bring the conference into the modern era, but it will take time and all the money the new TV revenues generate. Fact is in football, the U has been just as high if not better competition for the past 10 years. Even this year the top teams in the MWC are better, than most in the PAC-12 and BSU and TCU can compete with both Oregon and what will be a very over rated Stanford team.

--+All it takes is one good hit on Heaps and then we'll see Lark or whoever is the clipboard holder. Again the Cougars are counting chickens.. even with 7 home games and new coaches they still are atop their Utah County chicken coops crowing that the sun will rise.|

I had to chuckle reading the comment about Utah at the Vegas Bowl and downplaying it's significance. Isn't that the pinnacle of success for the BYU football team over the past decade? I guess that kind of speaks as to the BYU program, huh?

Allen Iverson does have a point....when do the games start?

Wishful thinking by a hater, but BYU would still be better off having Lark or Nelson or Munns, than Wynn, or either of the nameless backups that Utah would have to turn to if that fragile QB of yours goes down... again.

Didn't Wynn already miss 1/4 of last season and 1/2 of his Freshman season?

@WestCoast1,

Max was right, but not a hundred percent.

Best offseason ever? With so many preason national championships, I guess this means it's one more.

Congratulations to byu on another preseason national championship.

And congratulations on another 7-6 season. It's coming. You know it. I know it. The players know it.

worf,

Oh, I see. cougar_independence's comments were a preemptive strike and justified.

You say Max was right, yet it is the BYU fan base that dishes out and bad-mouths at least equal to Utah's fan base.

By the way, ever heard of bluto, blucoug, and sammyg?

"--+All it takes is one good hit on Wynn and there will be this giant sucking sound from everyone in the universe gasping when Shreeve or whoever is the clipboard holder being called up. Chow will have fainted and the whole stadium will be silent. Again the Utesies are counting chickens.. even with PAC 10.2 and no tv coverage and new coaches they still are atop their SL County chicken coops crowing that the sun will rise.|
