Wynn wound up getting the tribute at the end of May. The script on his arm reads: "Peace be with you. Grandma Joan. 5-5-11. Be with me every step."

I just really like this kid.
The title of the article should read...Real football for real men begins for Utes.
My initial impressions from what I've heard in camp is that the Utes young secondary will be just fine, John White will be at least a good change of pace back, and Denham hurt his hamstring because he was out of shape and not ready to play.
On offense the strength is probably the WRs, they have a ton of speed and size and if the new guys can step up, depth as well. On defense it's probably the DL again, they are going to cause havoc in the oppositions backfield and make the LBs look really good.
A couple points.... it was on his grandmas bucket list... I very much doubt she's offended by his tribute. While my grandma isn't a huge fan of tats (religious types so rarely are) at least she doesn't judge me... or others for doing so. For the most part the biggest difference between those who have them and those who don't is that those who do don't judge those who don't.
As for the original topic (Football) I'm really hoping the running backs get a competitive fire under their backsides... Step up!!! And the Denham thing... if the evaluation goes any less than perfect mon he should probably redshirt... a WR with hamstring issues is like a model with ugly issues... they just don't usually work out well.
Ps.... The biggest problem with my "self worth" is probably overestimation.... inked or not!!!
The note about the tat is very touching. Thanks for including it.
