As long as the Fundamentalists carry the name of "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" the true Mormon Church will be blamed for their actions by association.
I'm certain many members are constantly having to defend this issue.
The LDS Church needs to file a court action [maybe all ready has] to prohibit the use of the name or part of; and put issue to rest.
Win or lose at least it would be pubic record.
