"Reid's plan would extend the debt ceiling into 2013." Yeah, right!! And when 2013 rolls around they'll want to extend the debt ceiling until 2015. What ever happened to the 10-year $4 trillion dollar reduction plan.
An no, additional taxes wouldn't solve the problem. They'd just spend it, want more, and then ask to extend the debt ceiling to 2018.
so republicans want to extend it until next year do you hold the same venom for their plan?
Republicans have villified Reid so much there is no way they can be seen comprimising with him or Obama.
Politics at it's worst.
@Rifleman
So again the same question as the last thread you posted this same statement on. The republicans want to kick it down the road six months then in six months kick down the road another six months, do you hold the same venom for them you do Reid? how about they all grow up and deal with the problem now by actually reducing their spending to below what we bring in and close tax loopholes and mindless subsides for the wealthy so we can begin to pay down the debt?
The truth is weather its six months or sixteen months down the road its still just kicking it down the road.
