Tony is a great choice for this. A tough guy and a great player. I won't be surprised when his name gets called come draft time next year. Go Utes!
Nice job Bergstrom!
Its cool that Tony is one of the only o linemen at Pac 12 media day. I am a huge advocate of players other than the star positions getting attention. QBs, WRs and RBs usually get all the press, while these other players are often equally as important.
Rep us well Tony!
PS- I'll be interested to see Whitt on ESPN and the live spot on SportsCenter.
This kid is the real deal. Great player. I loved watching him play at Skyline years ago. As a Y fan, I'd love to see him playing in the NFL. Class act.
The U has a real tradition of breeding smart, articulate offensive line stars. Beatles, Taylor, and now Bergstrom. I think he is a chemical engineering major.
Love to see the trench players get some recognition, work hard and get very little. Problem for the u is that this is the best offensive player on the team. All the others represented are skill players.
Good job Bergstom.
hohum,
Stick to analyzing your y's team, obviously you know nothing about the Utes.
While it's great for Coach Whittingham to honor our best lineman on media day, that doesn't mean he is our best offensive player. It just means that he is an intelligent, deserving senior that represents Utah's program very well.
