Congrats, Jimmer. Keep up the good work. Have fun playing for the Kings.
What's next? Is there an annual award for world's greatest athlete?
He will never achieve the greatness of Danny Ainge.
Congratulations! Way to Jimmer the ESPY's!
Nice Jimmer! That is awesome! What an incredible year! Thanks for coming back for your senior season! Best choice ever!
I guess I missed responses from Ute fans admitting they were wrong after all the nasty things they said about Jimmer. Now that most of the media has recognized Jimmer, it is time for at least one Ute to admit they were wrong.
The bling just keeps on coming! Congrats Jimmer. Did I mention, I'm now a Kings fan?
As great as Danny Ainge was, Jimmer broke every record Danny set!
Jimmer is a tremendous talent but he is an even better person! I just love seeing good things happen to good people.
Congrats, well done Jimmer.
OK, reality check...The ESPY and other awards were given to Jimmer for what he achieved this year. Why bring up Danny Aunge? Ainge had great success witht he CEltics but one has to wonder how great he would have been has he not been teamed iwht Bird, McHale, Parrish and DJ. I can't stand it when people make such ignorant comments about Jommer's future. Congrats to a great young man on an amazing year.
With all the Awards and Trophies at BYU, now you can add an ESPY! The premiere University in the state, with the Premiere athletes. There is no doubt!
I guess he is more known than just by BYU fans. Great job Jimmer!
Way to Go Jimmer!
He's a King!
Well deserved Jimmer! Jazz should have picked you at 3! It would have been sweet seeing you 30'feet out and seeing the defense pick their poison between you, Favors and big Al. Also, may you light it up against every team that passed you up; including Oconner, Hornacek, Miller, Corbin, and Layden. It would have been sweet watching the Jazz rebuild with you, Favors, and Hayward. And you played great defense at BYU as people don't remember all the steals you had early in your career, including the picking of pocket against A&M at midcourt... If I know that, why don't NBA/jazz scouts???
Guess who's jersey will outsell the whole Jazz teams this year by himself? Jimmers! Oh what could have been. Jazz had a DWill, Stockton, Mark Price, Steve Nash, and Rocky all in one package and didn't want it. He even wanted to be here. oh what could have been. Mark my words...
I didn't think he was going to get this one. Great honor. Go Kings!
Jimmer has already made his mark.
He will be followed from now on, no matter where he plays, and will draw bigger crowds and more dinero for any team he plays for, even the lowly Clippers.
Great picture!
Jimmer fan for LIFE!
Congrats Jimmer, well deserved! Looking forward to watching you Jimmer the NBA with the Kings!
I don't think Jimmer is a better "athlete" than Cam Newton, as the award suggests. The award he should have been given (but doesn't exist) should be along the lines of most fascinating or outstanding male college athlete. But I was still excited to see him get it. Hopefully there will be an NBA season so that we can watch him!
