Not only was it a high school crowd at the game, it was a high school quality telecast online. There was no energy whatsoever from the FC Dallas broadcasters, they really didn't make much of an effort to describe the action. I finally just muted their announcers and turned on the radio to listen to our radio guys because I couldn't take any more.

As for the game itself, this is one that we can't blame on the refs unlike some of the losses or draws this year. RSL really did not show up to play at all, they showed as much passion as the FC Dallas broadcasters did. It was disappointing to see that after listening to them talk about how they were taking this tournament seriously, it sure didn't look like they were. If this is taking it seriously then I am sure we are headed for another early exit in the playoffs this year.

That was a brutal game to watch. FC Dallas seemed to make the better choice by starting more fresh legs. No RSL can focus completely on the Supporter's Shield.

Not a good time for Saborio to take a game off. I recognize how good a player he is, but he needs to embrace "the star is he team " philosophy. That was the way RSL got the title, and the only way to repeat.

RSL had no heart. I thought they were taking this tournament seriously. Guess not.
