Excited! This is not like being invited to the big dance when you can't sleep
all week but after your first loss it's all over. This is like being
invited to the big dance for the rest off your life!
Was Orrin there or is he still on a Quixotic journey to bring down the BCS?
I'm excited to watch Utah's first game this season. What TV channel is it
on?:)ESPN 4 Life! Go Cougars!
"ESPN 4 Life!"No, the agreement is for 8 years with the
option of showing just 3 game on the "family" espn networks.Let's just say bYu will need to win BIG this year or next year it's 3 on
ESPN3.Pressure is on.
@hedghog"No, the agreement is for 8 years with the option of
showing just 3 game on the "family" espn networks."Actually, an article by Jeff Call of Deseret news dated September 1, 2010
states the stipulations of the agreement as follows: "Every year, a minimum
of three home BYU football games will be carried on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC. Other
games could be broadcast on ESPNU. At least one game each season will be
televised live on BYUTV."I believe they later released a
guarantee that at least 1 game each year will be on ESPNU. So that's a guarantee
of at least 4 games on the "ESPN family of networks".What
guarantee does Utah have? U are guaranteed to play USC on Versus this season!
Congrats! Pac10.2 is awesome!Great comment!Go Cougars!
"What guarantee does Utah have?" Cougar_Independence,As far as I can tell, 27 million plus the chance to
play in the rose bowl ever year
coug_independence,I understand the executives are licking their
chops to televise your team's games against New Mexico State, Idaho, Idaho
State, Central Florida, San Jose State, Hawaii and Utah State! Thanks
for confirming your jealousy and envy by posting yet again on a Utah article.Go Utes
My first thought about the benefits of the PAC-12 membership was how much our
"olympic sports" will benefit! I am not delusional thinking we will
challenge for championships in these sports right away; perhaps never. But what
an opportunity is now afforded our athletes. To compete with world class
athletes. To compete in front of family, friends, classmates etc. against the
best! And to be seen on TV through out the West (on whatever channel!!) It's
incredibly exciting now and the best is yet to come!
Would the huge number of comments on this story correlate to the amount of
excitement in Ute Nation?Reality sinking in or has the increased
academic fees, new costly Pac 10.2 gear and ticket hikes caused several of the
Utes to diconnect their internet?Too funny... LOL
