I'm glad to hear that he is doing better. I do hope that he slows down a bit and gets to enjoy that new heart implant for a long time.
It's Good to see President Packer back on his feet and leading and guiding the new missionaries!!
Lord Bless President and Brother Boyd K. Packer!!!
I too have missed that second step but I am much younger. I don't think I could keep up with the schedule they have..
There becomes a point where the senior brethren dont travel that much, and the flight back to Massachusetts last weekend was without question not very easy for President Packer to do. But if his cardiologist thinks his life in advancing years can be made easier by a pacemaker, then by all means do it! As President of the Council of the Twelve, President Packer is the first person the 1st Presidency turns to when the rest of the Twelve are needed. Hopefully his health will hold up long enough to participate in the dedication of the forthcoming temple in his home town of Brigham City that should be ready to go sometime early next year.
So glad to see that he is okay, I was at the meeting in Mass. and it was a thrill to be there with He and President Erying, My husband and I are serving a Mission here, and we have been very blessed to have these great men of the church, visit this part of the Lords vineyard.. I am so excited!! this new Longfellow Park Chapel that was rededicated, is amazing, and a wonderful addition to this part on New England. Thank you President Packer, for all you and the Brethern do!
