Edwards, you need to go back and watch the replay of Davies' simulation. While RSL should not be in that situation, such a dive in the box marks a terrible black eye on the sport. The player should be held responsible to making such a play. It is no excuse to blame it on RSL's position.

I agree with Nussdorfer. there wasn't even any contact between Davies and Wingert. But its almost certain that plays like this will at least fairly regularly occur that stain the credibility of the game unless they put more officials on the field or use some type of video review. 3 refs alone can't cover that much ground effectively.
