I am grateful to my Father everyday for the wonderful blessing of having a faithful Father. He was a loving Father and taught me the importance of hard work and personal integrity but most of all he loved my Mother. He was gentle and kind to her, he expected us to do the same. He respected her, we knew it and no one raised their voice to her. My husband does the same. It is true that the first man a girl loves is her Daddy. She looks for those same qualities in her husband. "By their fruits ye shall know them." Your children are a reflection of you.
