"Supporting my family and the welfare, education and health for those who
are illegal is crushing me."Really? Have you sold your home to
support them? How many TVs do you have? Do you have a smart phone? How old is
your car? Do you have health insurance still? How often do you go out to eat?
If you even have a car, I'd suggest that you aren't being
"crushed." If you're still eating out, have more than 1 tv, and still
eat out, I'd suggest that the description of being "crushed" is a
little exaggerated. And if you're being "crushed" by the
costs of immigrants, tell us how you feel about the trillions that Afghanistan,
Iraq, the tax cuts for the wealthy, oil subsidies, and bailouts.
I am one of those that wants to see HB 116 be repealed. There is no reason why
the citizens of this great nation deserve to see our country invaded by those
who have no right to be here. While I welcome legal immigrants, I do not believe
that we should stand by and allow this to happen. The Federal government has
stood by and has done little to nothing, thus tacitly approving the illegals
presence. If the Federal government will do nothing, it is time for the states
to step in and defend themselves.
maverick,I'm being crushed by BO's $1 trillion + deficits and his
war in Lybia.I'll be crushed more if Obamacare isn't repealed and
fully kicks in when my employer realizes it's cheaper to pay the fine and drops
private insurance and I'm forced into some medicare-like govt plan with
rationing and poor quality care.I'm being crushed by 9.1%
unemployment and $4 per gallon gas.
You are right on this all the way. Granting amnesty of any kind is the wrong
choice, sends the wrong message, and is an affront to those who are out of work
in or state.
Conservatives are focused on their money, not on any rational outlook involving
reality. This leads to the alleged personal bankruptcy or ridiculous
psychological self imposed pressure on the writer. Was he crushed when Bush
started a Trillion dollar unfunded war and cut taxes on the rich? Eliminating
the Bush tax cuts may make him feel much less crushed.
Like CJ I think this letter is right on. Repeal HB116. Let's just try LEGAL
One vote,You need to change your name to "one note" and
that note is "everything is Bushes fault". He has been gone now for
two years, get over it. Obama has done more damage in six months than Bush did
in eight years.
