Back in the late 70's I had a position at the Hotel Utah on the night shift vacuming carpets in the main entrance of the hotel and the Roof Resturant among other area of the hotel. It was work, but there was also a feeling of pride knowing that many people relied on me doing not just a job and getting by but to do much more than that. The position did not last long and I forget the details as to why it ended but what I remember most were all the good things about doing that task on "The Roof".
