National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

This is a great Bingham Miner team. It's great to see a team play with so much confidence and grace. This team looks, acts and plays like a ball team. Much accolades to the fine coaching staff lead by Joey Sato and Rand Rassmussen. These men teach their charges to play the game with respect and heart. This is a humble group of kids who expect to win. They win because they are prepared and work hard. Good Luck against AF.
