National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

Nice job all teams... Great win Roy and nice pitching by youn Platt, classic game.Ms. Flint stepped up as usual, both pitching and her hitting, she is for real. Mr.Flint deserves to be proud of the team and his daughter. Other good games, Davis lost to Weber via erros and too many left on base. Syracuse beats a good Skyline team in great game then just runs out of gas and Weber had awesome game against Syracuse. Good luck to all going foward, is't over yet. Layton made first appearance in many years and played very well.
