EVERY sense of the word?
This is a testament to the coaches at the U and where their priorities are.
Coach Whittingham cares as much about helping his kids off the field as he does
on the field. This also proves that coach Rose at BYU has the same
mindset as coach Whitt. They are both top notch coaches and top notch men.It is great to see coaches who realize the truly important things in
life! Props to both of these schools AD's for hiring whitt and Rose!
Veracity,The 2004-2005 Utes (the oldest year that is searchable on
the NCAA APR site) were given a score of 954, just two point below this year's
score.Utes:2009-2010 - 9562008-2009 - 9492007-2008 - 9542006-2007 - 9442005-2006 - 9492004-2005 -
954These scores are readily available on the internet. They
indicate that Meyer's/Whittingham's Fiesta Bowl team scored very well in the
classroom as well as on the field.
Under Urban we would never have received these kind of scores.
