Looks like the 3A Tourney was exciting!! Congrats the Bear River! And Jordan Thuerer you rock!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to Bear River High School and Coach Calvin Bingham. Four state championships in a row is quite an accomplishment!
Nice job ladies, everyone up north was pulling for you all year, they just don't get it down south yet, maybe 5 in a row they'll be betting on you. Next year will be a tough year with Roy joining the 4A ranks. The dynamics of Roy will change from a pitcher dominated team to an offensive dominated team with all those young players maturing into just as strong of a team. Good luck to both as you move forward, what a great season and a great run, 4 in a row is unheard of. Congratulation Bear River! Good luck to Roy as they try for a championship also. Region 1 seems to be for real, with all 5 (of the 12 left) of their teams still in the tourney. They start playing each other now so that run will end but what a show. as the old saying goes, "The North shall rise again". Not being nasty, just saying way to go ladies of the North.
What happened to Juan Diego-the team who gave the bears one of their only losses this season?
