Ex-official faces 2 criminal charges in killing of puppy

He should not have shoot the dog. And he is facing the charges for it.

but as far as Peggy Redmiles quote: "What right does he have to shoot my dog in my yard when I'm obeying the law?"
If the dog was barking endlessly then you were not obeying the law. And yours was the first wrong. But that still doesn't mean he should have shot it. His wrong was the second. Two wrongs don't make a right.
