Well I would like to see a team win it that has never done it before, so the Mavs, the Grizz or the "Thunder", would be OK with me. But the later two would be Great to see get there and win it all. Not a big fan of the Bulls or the Heat, dont care who plays for them.

I think it will Dallas and Miami in the finals though, and can the Heat handle the bigs of the Mavs, and can the Mavs run with the Heat?

At least we don't have the Lakers or the Celtics there it will be a good change.

This article pretty much sums up my feelings regarding the subject. OKC/Memphis at the top of my list, followed by the Mavs. I don't like the Mavs, but I dislike the Heat and the Bulls more.

At least the Lakers are gone! The Lakers losing is already a championship for me.

If it can't be the Jazz, then Go Mavs

No doubt Led Zep - Lakers out = celebration for sure! Very much hope the OKC crew can get it done. I love their attitude and Durant is so humble and he overcame such a tough background that I'd love to see the b-ball gods smile on him.

the reason the Bulls are good...they have Noah Asik and Gibson guarding the paint...this nullifies Boozer's ineffectiveness on D...plus...lets face it...D.Rose > D. Will....by a wide margin....i'd root for anyone..except the heat...i have a wager on them not winning the championship..

Am pulling for Mavs. Oldest team in the NBA -- their "window" is closing fast. OKC will certainly win a title or two, but they have plenty of time in the future.

Would love to see Dirk and company sweep the Heat and get revenge for 2006!

There are only two players left in the NBA playoffs that I really like: Korver (nice kid, always tries, can be a trey threat--Jazz should have kept him), and Durant (nice kid, a superstar--something the Jazz don't have right now).

So, I'd like to see the Thunder and Bulls in the playoff.

Justice was served when the Lakers got ousted, especially in that fashion.

Justice can again be served when Miami loses to Chicago. Never liked stacking the deck like James & Bosh think they did.

Watching Durant vs Nowitzki is gonna be fun!

I agree ... I'd like nothing better than to see Miami lose to Chicago.

At least I can root for the good guys (Korver and Brewer). Both Kyle and Ronnie were class guys when they were here. I'd like to see them both get rewarded with NBA Championship rings; the only unfortunate part is that it means Boozer would also get one but I can live with that.

Kakashi: I was going to pass this one up, but then I read your opinion of D. Rose being better than D Will. I hope that you meant Rose is better than D Will when Williams plays hurt like he did for the mid-end part of his season this year. I watched a lot of games over the past couple of years in which various announcers ad nauseum would wonder if Williams was the best point guard in the league or the second best or the third best. Chris Paul's name came up a lot, too, but Rose's not so much. Rose is the MVP and congratulations to him, but Deron healthy is a force that has shown his stuff for many years now. Rose just might eclipse Williams in many people's minds eventually, but for now, my fantasy team starts a healthy Williams at the point. I like everything else you said...think you nailed it...good luck on your bet.

@scalman

i think i oversaid things and it should have been by the slimmest of margins now that i have actually thought about it...and you are right...if i was asked who would i start at PG with today's pool of players...i would've said Deron without blinking...but right now...as a player...i think Rose is showing his chops...he doesnt average as much assists as d.will but he does make everyone better...so i'd say right now...this season...D.Rose>D.will slimmest margin...i sure hope there are more PGs like Stockton though...that would be an ideal PG...
