In a current story about porn by the Deseret News the articles says it can affect employment. This would have to be living proof that porn destroys families, and the individuals that get addicted to it.

That might have been true...

if watching CHILD porn was legal in Utah.

Since it's not, and you have to be the age of (oh, I dunno) CONSENT to be able to view and produce pornography, the comparison is invalid.

This man wasn't arrested for simply watching pornography. That is legal in Utah and America.

He was arrested for watching CHILD pornography, which is NOT legal in Utah.

Also, the story you cite? It was written about a group called: "Protecting Children and Families from Pornography and other Harmful Materials".

No bias there...

No need to split hairs here. To decent men porn is porn and we don't distinguish between the legal garbage and the illegal garbage. We just stay away from it.

Porn, legal or otherwise, destroys families, leads to divorces, and in the case of this individual may not only cost him his job but may send him to prison.

I always find it interesting when people try to distinguish between legal and illegal pornography in an attempt to justify that which is legal.

Wise men know that smoking is legal ..... and refrain because they understand it is harmful ..... even if it is legal.

Owning a gun is also perfectly legal.

Should we stop that as well?

Your claim of legality can also be used against your argument.

And since you cannot tell the difference between legal and NOT legal, like many other things, there is no point to try to spell out those differences too you.

You will only ignore them.

Actually owning a gun is a constitutional right. Not quite sure what gun ownership and porn have in common. Some people think it is appropriate to view 'legal' porn while others, myself included, consider it something to be abhorred, disgusting, and to be avoided at all costs.
