Come one! Come all! All ye Sloan bashers that is.
I wonder what you would be saying if Sloan lost to an 8 seed? We all know he would be the most worthless blah blah blah....and this NEVER happens to a great championship coach like Jackson or Popovich...except that it just did.
You people don't know how good we had it.....but you will find out soon enough.
The Sloan bashers didn't get Jerry fired, he quit on his own. Something tells me that the future didn't look that good to him either.
re: fuzzbrain
Never said they actually got him fired. Just pointing out their flawed point of view.
They constantly bashed jerry for every game he lost. In their eyes every series/game he lost was one he should have one. Popvich is a great coach and he just lost a series that according to seeds he should have never lost but he did. Good coaches lose games "they aren't supposed to" sometimes...but they never equally criticize other coaches when it happens but they sure never missed their chances with Jerry.
Of course they never got him fired but all I am saying is that now that he is gone they will hopefully realize how good they had it.
The Jazz more than likely will be a mediocre team at best for a lot of years to come.
RE: Jazz Source
You said it. We have been hearing for the past five years how Pop could win a championship with a group from a ward. I got tired of it, about 4 and a half years ago. Players win games.
