A beautiful and insightful editorial. I know that you are a person of a wonderful heritage that established a foundation from which you have succeeded so well in your life. I do think that ultimately our decisions should be guided by something of profound resolve that I believe was a large part of your decision process. Yes, study it out through a solid process that you have provided, but we must also make decisions using higher resources.
great advice.thank you.
My wife and I had the privilege of attending a reception honoring Governor Leavitt while he served in the President's cabinet. The reception was at the U.S. Ambassador's residence in the Communist country of Laos in 2005. He greeted us warmly and then circulated among the many Government officials and representatives from many countries around the world. He was at that time the highest U.S. government representative to visit Laos since the communist takeover in 1975. The purpose of the visit was his obvious genuine concern about a possible serious flu epidemic then spreading around the globe. How proud we were to be Americans. Many of the Lao government officials made very positive comments to us about Governor Leavitt regarding that visit. It was a pleasure to be in his presence. Thank you Governor for being the person who you are and what you represent.
An interesting modality to be sure, but as Secretary Leavitt surely appreciates, the lower one goes in society decision criteria boil down to one-keep the health insurance. If a move entails loss of coverage - don't do it.
Great editorial...uplifting and helpful. Regardless of anyone's position on the political spectrum, one will find some valuable takeaways in this article. Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed it very much.
Very insightful. Being a young lad myself, this could be very helpful
Several people were talking about this editorial at a family party I went to tonight. After reading it, I can see why. Decisions are what life is made of. Gov. Leavitt, in his typical genuine and insightful way, shares great advice. Thank you governor for your leadership and willingness to continue to guide people in our state.
