Comments about ‘BYU football: ESPN satellite bus visits campus Friday’

Here is a WR that both BYU and Utah wanted. BYU won as usually and here is the WR comments.

"A couple of weeks ago, I received my first letter from Utah," Weeks said. "I thought it was funny that they started sending me mail. Me and my parents kind of laughed about that a bit. It's just kind of funny that they would send a letter knowing they would probably be the last school I would probably go to."

Speaking of DirecTV, the last time I emailed them, they had NO plans to broadcast BYUtv in HD. We need to start a major letter writing campaign to ask them to change this. Otherwise for those of us outside of Utah, we will once again be relegated to watching fuzzy BYU Sports when they are not on ESPN! And this goes for people who watch BYUtv for other reasons, too!

The remarks here prove once again that BYU is rabidly jealous of Utah's move to the PAC.

This article is an image boost to the Y, yet the FIRST thing you fans jump on is the so-called "snub" of the Utes. That's simply incredible.

No doubt you all will deny this, but it strongly suggests that Utah's new BCS status is constantly in the forefront of Y fans' minds.

Furthermore, this comes as a surprise to no one. BYU is now in bed with the ESPN. It would have been a shock if they didn't go to Provo. ESPN is partners with the Y, so of course they are gonna try to boost interest for a team they will cover regularly.

That said, ESPN has already covered the Utes this spring for a football program, which included Urban Meyer. So there isn't really much for Y fans to brag about here.

Each and every one of you still wish you could imitate Utah: getting a seat at the BCS table. To try and deny that indisputable fact will only make you look ignorant.

The espn tour of utah was nothing more than the Urban Myer show with a little straight guy help from Coach whit. I was not happy because he talked about him(myer) not really the u. I do remember him talking about that thursday night game with california. He said it put the u in every home, everyone knew who they were because of that espn thursday night game. Kind of hurts on the thursday thing huh. Urban showed his eny of the Y by continuing his tds, very juvenile. Urban talked of the loaded cali team, I think that team went 7-5 that year. Loaded --

Don't think the show helped the u because it wasn't about the u.

Great point. Look @ how many SEC teams have won BCS titles (5... LSU, Bama, Tennessee, Florida, & Auburn).

There is parity in the balence of power in the PAC & SEC. Unlike the Big 10, where OSU, Wisconsin, & Michigan are more often than not the 3 front runners.

Only on Halloween should they show the fans in Provo in HD.

You'd better check your reading comprehesion, because The Disillusionist clearly stated that BYU's goal isn't playing in a BCS game, it's busting up the BCS, getting rid of it entirely, so that it can be replaced by a playoff tournament.

Yep Hedgie, the number one QB ranking of Heaps coming out of HS (according to "scout") was all fiction.... The offers that he turned down at USC, ND, and UW (along with about 15 others) were all baloney...
