@I Still Can't Say it.

Bad wording, yes! I meant there will only be 5000 at the Ute games after starting 2 and 3.

By the way, 2 PAC-10 teams finishing in the top 10 last year hardly makes for an "overrated" conference.

@DevilishUte

Maybe 2, like I said, OVERRATED! I sure you could have figured that out from the post.

The point is the PAC12 doesn't interest me or anyone outside the west.

There were two MWC teams in the top ten also. TCU and BS. SO! Having two PAC12 teams in the top 10 doesn't make the other 10 good.

@BlackShirt

Which 2 games did you watch or did you just throw that out there to try and make it sound like you know what you're talking about? LOL!

The point I'm trying to make by asking you how many you saw is that you have NO CREDIBILITY, at all, in discussing or making predictions about how Utah or any other team in the PAC-12 will perform next season.

DevilishUte

BSU did not play in the MWC last, sherlock. Furthermore, if you followed the PAC-10 you would know that power in the conference shifts from time to time, but the PAC-10 has teams in the mix every year.

Well I watched washington lose to BYU and oregon lose to Auburn. Do those count? I just couldn't get interested in any of the others. I might have watched a Stanford game or two if any of them had been on tv although I certainly didn't waste my time watching the extremely mediocre asu, ua, cal or ucla.

I will watch utah and osu lose to BYU this year although the chances of me watching any of the others play isn't very likely unless it is in a bowl game.

The truth is there just isn't much of interest there to watch.

@Devil..."The point I'm trying to make by asking you how many you saw is that you have NO CREDIBILITY, at all, in discussing or making predictions about how Utah or any other team in the PAC-12 will perform next season."

Isn't this the back-n-forth argument Y fans always hear from U trolls? No one knows predictions better than hedgehog or chris b. You seem to be pretty level headed though. None of us really has any credibility when it comes to predictions. It's all about rubbing something in the other team/program's face.

What devilishute is trying to claim is that he/she alone is the only one with any credibility on the subject. No one that is a fan of BYU possibly could because for some reason being a fan of a team in the pac10 makes you a better analyst than being a fan of a team not in the pac10.

In otherwords she is a troll.

They are not stopping in Salt Lake at UTAH because Urban Meyer already stopped here to do a better expose on the UTES with them being 1 of 5 schools that get that treatment for Spring ball. Especially since the UTES were headed to a real conference and not to irrelevence. However, it sure is nice that ESPN is showing some support to their irrelevent partners, who will be on ESPN U or BYU TV 99.9% of the time.

"Too easy."

What does that mean?
===

I guess I can explain it to you.

"BYU is one of 15 schools scheduled for stops during the month-long bus tour. Other stops on the tour include TCU, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Boise State, UCLA, USC, Stanford and Oregon."

15 schools with relevance, that people want to hear about.

Not a pity stop from a guy that opened a suitcase in Utah 7 years ago, who as a professional, is still petty and small enough that he "still can't say it"...

It's too easy to bag on Utah now, as they flounder in basketball (serious, that was rebuilding?), and the fans beat their chests, and no on cares...

Athletic prowess?

Utah is the guy in the head and wrist bands playing right field in softball, and bats last, so the PAC has enough players and won't forfeit the Championship game.

It's too easy to pile on Utah, so why do it, but since you asked...

We read the word irrelevance from the hill quite a bit. Yet the ESPN bus is making a stop in Provo next week, Jimmer swept all the POY awards, AND the other sports seem to have had a very successful year.

What exactly does irrelevance refer to in U minds these days? Is Iowa State BCS conference? How about Kansas or Baylor? Oh, wait, I forgot about Vandy and Boston College too? See how easy it is to play the other way?

Btw, the only reason why a stop in SLC was made last month is because Urban is now part of ESPN's crew. Do you really think you play last year had enough merit to warrant a "pit" stop with the truck?

Before anyone says it's all about 2004 and 2008, please stop. It wasn't about the move to the pac12 either...notice there is no stop in Boulder...unless I missed that one.

@Pavalova

"Do you really think you play last year had enough merit to warrant a "pit" stop with the truck?"

Do you think BYU's play last year warrants a "pit" stop by the truck? If your answer is "yes" then you are delusional (didn't a team whose colors you stole rock your world last year?). If your answer is "no," then I will use your own words and argument against you....."See how easy it is to play the other way?"

BYU is getting some nice attention. Utah already did. I'm excited, and it's clear that ESPN (and a lot of us) is as well, about the upcoming season and to see what comes of the changes for both teams.

@ Honor Code;
Your lack of intelligence and jealous obsession of BYU are showing again. Thursday night games are actually rated quite high nationally compared to other games when there is more competition. The games usually kick off at 6 or 7 mountain time(depending on location)and give the participants a great deal of national exposure. having said that, guess how many Thursday night games BYU has in 2011? Zero, nada, zilch. They have 9 Saturday games with no kickoff times decided and they have 3 Friday night Prime Time games against USU, UCF and TCU. More national exposure, more national respect and mor ESPN / BYU TV.

If your going to post; think it through. It will save you some embarrassment.

Does anyone know the answers to questions I asked earlier...

1) Does anyone know where the truck is stopping on campus? I want to get a picture, if possible.

2) How many of the Cougs games are on ESPN this year? Our website only shows 3.

Re:Black Shirts

Apparently you are a 15 year old kid who recently discovered the anonymity of the internet and Des News.
I have no problem with people talking smack. But at least base it in something that isn't childish and easily proven wrong. If you want to share your opinion and say something like, "Heaps is going to pick your young secondary apart", or "Quiz is going to run all over you next year". Or go to the classic debate on these boards as to what is better, historical success, or more recent success. Or make fun of past performance. That is talking smack.
But if you don't see what is stupid about saying something like "ESPN isn't going to SLC, hahaha" when they have just been there; then i don't know what to say to you. What is "boring, boring, boring" is when someone thinks they have just delivered the greatest slam in the world, and it is the dumbest thing you have ever heard.

The reason I didn't watch the PAC-12 is because I have enough knowledge to know the BIG games like OK VS TX, Ohst vs Nebraska, ALA vs FL are better than CAL vs UCLA. There are these shows called ESPN and others that inform me well.

You're a typical Ute fan who actually thinks the Utes will win the next 10 BCS championships, JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE IN THE PAC12. Ask Arizona and Arizona St how that is working out. Remember how the Utes acted and played against BSU. The Utes are falling like a rock. The Y is the program to watch. Basketball and Football and I couldnt be more excited about the train wreck to come on the hill.
REMEMBER 5 AND 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my last post to you because I can see that you do not reason well or have the reading comprehension skills to engage in meaningful conversation. Base your comments on fact, not opinion. And if you don't have the facts to back up what you're saying, then you shouldn't state it as fact.

"The reason I didn't watch the PAC-12 is because I have enough knowledge to know the BIG games like OK VS TX, Ohst vs Nebraska, ALA vs FL are better than CAL vs UCLA. There are these shows called ESPN and others that inform me well."

And BYU games on are this level? LOL!
