I grew up on King of Kings and still love it. (It's on TCM this Sunday.) One of the few early movies that showed the face of the actor portraying Jesus. You mean Jesus didn't have blue eyes? And his mother didn't have a Irish accent? PSSHAW! (lol)
Chruis. you complan aboput JEsus being portrayed by blue yeted actors,
HOW do you know what color of eyes Jesus Had?
Jesus came from a fair sect of jews, and may have even had had red hair!
and an apostle said the most correct painting of jesus is te lost sheep painting.
Check it out.
The portrayal by Jefferey Hunter may be the most accurate of all portrayals.
Not to be missed: Charleston Heston as John the Baptist in "Greatest Story".
I think the Ben-Hur is the best movie about Christ. We never see him directly, but we see how he affects the lives of others. Definitely my favorite!
