The only negative from this season will be the rush of teams (including the MNT one day) that will be rushing Salt Lake City with the hope of stealing Jason Kreis. Talk about the class of the league when our reserves can go in and embarrass another team's starters.

"The star is the team" is the often spoke, but rarely comes to fruition. With Salt Lake City it is the truth. Our starters, our reserves, both play excellent team soccer and it is fun to watch. I used to cringe watching Salt Lake (and MLS), but I supported them with loyalty because they were my team. Now there isn't a game I don't look forward to watching.

There still is A LOT of soccer to play, but it has started out with the potential to be a very special season.

So, is Real's 'B' team that good or is New England that bad?

This could be a very special year for Real. They are the clear front runners for the Supporter's shield and since they won't have CCL games this summer they can put some emphasis on the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup this season.

It was also refreshing to see the game carried live on KUTV in HD with the broadcasters actually at the game.

The only downside to this game was Will Johnson getting sent off for two quick yellow cards. He will be missed against the cRapids next week.

RSL has become such a dominant team in Major League Soccer and Concacaf. It's amazing that we play our reserves and still dominate other teams on the road.

I would say that the RSL B team is that good. You look at the players that started for us tonight, and they would be starting almost anywhere in the league.

If things keep going the way they are for RSL. this could be one very special season. This team is becoming a monster. They have already gone where no MLS team has gone befor by making the CONCACAF finals, and now the reserves can go out and totally dominate an away match! They are looking scary good, so very deep.

NE isn't exceptional, but they were undefeated and sitting high in the Eastern standings. Most of their games have ended in a draw but they have played some quality teams so far. At home you would expect them to be able to hang with or beat any B team in the league - except RSL of course. RSL has a full roster of starters. Mackenzie is the only one that I've been iffy on in the past but he played well last night.

RSL is the only undefeated team in MLS. I hope we can keep that going against Colorado this Wednesday. It is going to be an EPIC RMC match.

Real is only successful sport team in Utah. From outsiders to powerhouse of league great transformation.

The only thing that is going to beat this team this year is boredom. Jason will have to get creative in order to keep these guys motivated through 34 games. Their motivation this game was that they didn't want to lose to a guy in pig tails.
I hope they go for the Lamar Hunt trophy, then we are in CCL again. I think the USOC is kind of the poor mans route to the CCL, but oh well. What will the league do when the same team occupies 3 out of the 4 CCL slots?
By the way, watch out for the pig tail man, he pokes you in the head when he gets mad.

It's a special thing to expect a win in every match.

axle, If the same team wins multiple trophies they start going down the regular season schedule. RSL was almost in the CCL again for next year, if LA (Shield) or Seattle (USOC) had won the Cup.
