aw so sorry, he doesnt pay any taxes.
Pagan @ 2:44:So what's your point?
I want more Beck! He is the reason the Republican party is eating their own. He
is the reason they still don't have a candidate. He is one of the biggest
reasons that Barak Obama will be our President for the next six years. Byron--I
agree with you on just about every point, except Michael Moore. Love him or hate
him, the guy is spot on! He is ALWAYS proven correct and it absolutely drives
I rarely listen to the Beck TV Show. I listen to the Raio Show less and less,
because it has become mostly self promotion and commericals both inside and out
side the program.Listeners Calls are Rarely taken and they are cut
off and talked over.Beck has become a shameless self promoter, what
used to be a nice family guy, has become a total jerk. I do not listen to
Hannety much for the same reason.Mostly i just do not care. Iknow
the World is going to heck in a hand basket and I cn't do much about it. So I
fight against Abortion and listen to good music.I Post so that
little I have to say counts and is read by the most people.I have No
need for Beck for anything. Not then, Not Now, Not Ever. So Glenn
Beck being off the air on TV, is just one less commerical (the one everyday
about his TV show and how great its going to be). However I am sure he will find
a way to replace it.
Glenn has done a great job of educating people of world events. It will go
unheard. All through history, people like Glenn who speak out are rejected. I
have an old neighbor who grew up in Germany. He stated that Glenn would have
been despised had he lived in Germany during the early thirties. America is no
different. Obama will win the next election no matter what he does or what some
Beck is amazing. Unbelievable research and insight. Most of us do not want to
believe the mess we are in or listen but from the beginning he has exposed more
corruption and collusion than all the other journalists outside of Malkin
combined. Those who reject him out of hand show their ignorance. I do not like
his theatrics but his message is the most accurate in the media. The problems
we have in this country and the enemies within as they have been exposed by
their own words are legion. God bless you Glenn Beck
Hopefully nothing in the future for the conspiracy theorist Glen Beck. One of
his own fellow Fox News employees had started to call his show the "Fear
Chamber."It's true. His little theories are silly and
pointless. I look forward to America forgetting about Glen Beck except for the
tiny but paranoid "black helicopter" crowd.Enough of Glen
Beck! Enough of the Tea Party Already!
Beck will be ok. He has made his money and continues to safely stash it in
various enterprises.Whew, and there for a moment I was worried about
All I can say to Fox News is one word: Gramercy!
@TOOBeck is a brilliant entertainer, and rarely does he make concrete
predictions and or statements that can be disproven. Rather he gives his own
opinions based loosely on facts and more on his interpretations of events, based
on his own beliefs. Now, as a political science student I can say
with a surety that I have some authority in the area of "extremist
views". See there is a very definitive scale used to rate ones political
beliefs, hence the terms "to the right" and "to the left" of
the political spectrum. Glenn Beck's views are widely accepted to be
to the "extreme right," meaning that in each category he usually
pushes the limits of what a conservative would consider the furthest
implementation of conservative policy (usually this means the least amount of
government possible while still protecting morality and providing strong
defense, for conservatives.)So when I say extremist views I do not
mean extremism with negative connotations, rather compared to most individuals
he advocates a much more extreme-style of conservative government.IMO... most LDS individuals are fairly moderate and find his beliefs to be
extreme representations of their own core values.
re: byronbca | 1:05 p.m. April 8, 2011 "I don't get why hard
core republicans are obsessed with right wing propagandists."Because, a mind is a terrible thing to use. ROFL! Why think when
you can get one of Rupert Murdoch's many mouthpieces to do it for you?
re: 2 bits | 10:48 a.m. April 8, 2011 Now that Arnold S is back
acting, there is still a certain former Gov who needs a *payin'* gig.Olbermann is now Director of News Operation on Current TV (owned by Al Gore).
KO will have a show on said network soon.
Any publicity is good publicity as long as they spell your name right.Beck will likely do very well.
I just discovered a fella named Thom Hartmann. Google his name.A
striking contrast to Beck and others, Hartmann actually researches and provides
accurate and truthful material.
The rest of the story....George Soros hired 80 people on his staff to bring down
Glenn Beck. Soros is a multibillionaire from Poland who really runs the show at
Media Matters, Planned Parenthood, ACORN, unions, GE, all the networks, and
about three dozen other operations. He successfully got advertisers to bail on
Glenn. I think Glenn Beck will actually be more of a voice for
returning the United States back to the principles of the Founding Fathers. He
is definitely not going away. I respect the fact that Glenn Beck always backs up
anything he states with actual video clips of the person making the statement or
documents/references stating the person's own words. He always says, "Go
look this up for yourself and decide."I have met Glenn in
person, listened to him for eight hours as he bore his soul for the love of this
great country. I saw no crazy man as some have stated here. I saw a
compassionate patriot educating us in ways that the liberal press has never
done. If you have ears to hear and eyes to see, you would see a good man! Love
you, Glenn Beck!
2 bits, I thought O'Reilly was their highest rated show Fox Nesws. Beck has lost
almost 1/3 of his viewers in the last year alone. Also, highest rated doesn't
mean highest revenue in advertisements. The bottom line is the dollar, not the
rating. Usually they go hand in hand, but in the case of Glenn Beck, he has
burned too many bridges. I say good riddance to Beck. I'm a
Republican and avid Fox News watcher, and I have never liked Glenn Beck. His
logic reminds me of the knight (Sir Bedevere) on Monty Python's Holy Grail who
is helping the medieval townspeople decide whether a local woman is a witch or
not using a bizarre chain of "connect the dot" logic.
Beck claims that Americorps has "just received half a trillion dollars in
funding." Fact: For FY 2010, the president requested less than two
billion dollars for Americorps' parent agency.Beck claims the
"Obama Department of Justice" dropped the case against both men even
though the evidence clearly supported a conviction. Fact: An Obama
administration official at the Justice Department told a subordinate that he
wouldn't accept the outright dismissal of a high-profile civil voter
intimidation case against members of the New Black Panther Party, according to a
report by DOJ's internal ethics office. He told his audience for
several weeks that he "could not disprove" the existence of
concentration camps run by FEMA in which conservatives were to be rounded up."The government is trying to now close the Lincoln Memorial for any
kind of large gatherings."Beck: Michelle Obama has 43 people on
her staff; Nancy Reagan had just 3.Fact: Michelle Obama has a staff of 25.
Nancy Reagan had a staff of about 15. The size of Michelle Obama's staff is
similar to that of her immediate predecessors.
paganWhat are you going to do about your obsession with Beck? Now
that he's gone who will be the boogyman?Fox donated 1 million to
GOP. Do you even have any idea how much money was given to the dems and Obama
this last presidential run? 1 million is a pithece compared to the funny money
that the dems get in political contributions. What is the most irksome is the
amount of money that is redistributed from the taxpayer to the community
organizers and the unions to the DNC. Whats more they have the MSM to parrot
the talking points of the DNC.
SLC demWhat "extremist" view does he have? If you can name one
thing that he has said that hasn't already happened or has backfired then you
can talk. Until then, do the research yourself.
Beck ran out of things to say a long time ago. A daily show is not for him. A
daily dose of fear is not good for anyone anyways.
Pagan.........What do you think of Obama? What do you
think of Beck? What do you think of the Government as a whole? Not
democrats or republicans separate because it takes two to make up the Government
"extremist" "hate speech" yada yada yada... The leftists are
so glad to see the truthspeaker leave fox. Its always better to do the dirty
work in the dark. No more exposure of groups like SEIU or ACORN. No more ties
to presidential power by the likes of Sorros, van jones, Bill Ayers and the rest
of the gang of communists. Yes, we are going to miss this articulate, funny,
strange little chalk board professor. It will be nice to sit in the dark,
Silly liberals, Beck is too deep for your shallow minds isn't he?Now
that's funny "Beck is deep."Doesn't hang up on opposing
calls.Liberals are trying to censor the media?Spoken like a
true believer of Beck's Deep Mind.
'It wasn't to white people, but to America.' - worf | 3:48 p.m.
Riiiight. Because 'all of America'... is a race.
Worf, what did I 'mean' by that? Also, all this crying about the
'left' destroying Glenn Beck... but Fox is the company that dropped
him. And we know how 'fair and balanced' they are. *'Fox
News Parent News Corp. Gives $1 Million to GOP' - by Brian Montopoli - CBS News
- 04/17/10 'Fox News parent company News Corp. has given $1 million
to the Republican Governors Association.'
I would think Beck was crazy too... If all I had seen were the outrageous clips
all the networks showed when announcing the story. 100% of the 3 I saw included
the "Obama doesn't like white people" comment (which he retracted and
apologized for LONG ago, but they can't get over it).But if you
watch more than just the clips the MSM wants you to see of him being CRAZY...
you could come closer to the truth (he's not really crazy.. he's just very
passionate and outspoken). I guess if the Left is against that... we should all
try to destroy him?===I don't know... I just don't see
the big deal some are seeing here. He's just going to do his shtick
somewhere else. So it's not on FoxNews... what's the big deal about that?
When Glenn Beck stated "Obama is a racist". It wasn't to white
people, but to America. He doesn't believe Obama would give his life for this
country or promote the American Dream. How could Glenn believe this with all
the change and hope that's been presented.
Why is it that if a liberal disagrees with something someone says, its hate
speech? Why is it that if someone, anyone says anything a liberal doesn't like
liberals want him shouted down, silenced and stopped? Why do liberals believe in
free speech but only for themselves? Why have liberals never learned to use the
channel change button on their remote if they don't like what a person says? Why
is it that if a liberal doesn't like someone's message, they attach the
messenger? Silly liberals, Beck is too deep for your shallow minds isn't he?
[ Beck's media company Mercury Radio Arts pulled in over $32 million during the
12-month period ]It's pathetic that the marketplace buys this
stuff up. Talk about market inefficiency.
'Wow! The hate speech here is nothing short of...Christlike.' - Mudd | 1:05
p.m. *'Fox Host Glenn Beck: Obama Is A "Racist" -
Huffington Post - 07/08/09'When Fox's Brian Kilmeadeon pointed out
that many people in Obama's administration are white, so "you can't say he
doesn't like white people," Beck pressed on. "I'm not saying he
doesn't like white people, I'm saying he has a problem," Beck said.
"This guy is, I believe, a racist."
This is just today's Glenn Beck update. Thanks. We haven't seen enough stories
about his departure from Fox News over the past several days. Sheesh.
Again I have to ask: Is this news? Why is this guy all over this site?
Really, isn't there something more relevant to cover in the form of news? Maybe
another earthquake/sunami? Or something really important like a 5 year old in
Magna tying his shoes.
It is so interesting, those that are Mormon that view Beck as off the path, I as
a Mormon view Harry Reid as off the path. But Beck does uphold the constitution
and that is so vital for this country which was founded by God. My gut feeling
on Beck, is that he wanted to not do the show anymore. I really think that he
will do more with Fox, as to having an impact with his knowledge and research by
this new approach of doing specials. I for one give Beck a lot of credit, I
know he didn't create the Tea Party, but he put the fire in other peoples
bellies, he has helped to give the conservatives a voice to speak up for what
they want and believe.
What's next for Beck? If only he could be sent to Iraq or Afghanistan to fight
the wars he so proudly promotes...
Wow! The hate speech here is nothing short of...Christlike. Nice. @Happy Valley
Heretic: "He just lost his job belching cow, or has he got another place to
voice his hate speech?" You're kidding, right? Did you read
the article? That 'job' at Fox is the least of what he is doing and yes, he has
many other places he can "voice his hate speech". His detractors can
call what he puts out there hate speech if they want to, but his research staff
is second to none and what he teaches can be verified. Seems to be a lot of
ignorance and mis-information among the haters, mostly due to the media bias.
C'mon haters, be honest, have you ever tried to search out and verify (or
disqualify)what he has taught...or do you just spew? Ya, that's what I thought.
I don't get why hard core republicans are obsessed with right wing
propagandists. Surely they must recognize that it is indeed propaganda, right?
Does anyone actually believe people like Glen Beck are journalists or insightful
unbiased political annalists? The reason why Chaffetz loves Glenn
Beck so much is because Mr. Beck could convince republican voters that the sky
will turn green and that it's the democrats fault. I'm sorry but
anyone who listens to Glen Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, or Michael Moore is a tool.
Another word for a propagandist is a deceiver. For those of you who read the
scriptures you can probably guess where I'm going with this.
Got to love all the Beck haters here. Keep up all the negative comments, it
keeps making him more and more popular and here's why. Anyone who hasn't heard
him on the radio or TV and formed an opinion on him yet is going to be more
interested in hearing all the "hate speach" for themselves after
listening to one of your rants. After all, we Americans love controversy and you
are promoting controversy. When people do listen to him for the first time they
immediately notice that nothing you've said is true and that they actually agree
with him on a lot of issues. If they didn't then he would just fade into
obscurity. I think this will end up being a good move for Beck and
Fox. His show would be better as a regular special and it will give him more
time to pursue other ventures that will have liberals ... their pants a year
from now. I predict we're going to see some real investigative reporting
exposing all sorts of corruption.
I think some one needs to tell Chaffetz that Beck is only about entertainment
and if he needs to find a fill in for his TV viewing I suggest a suitable
alternate would be Sponge Bob.
Furry1993,Why do you assume (or HOPE) that Glenn_Beck will fall off
the edge of the earth into obscurity... just because he's not on FOX???Hints...He was doing the same thing BEFORE going to Fox, He had
good ratings on CNN when he was there, He had the highest ratings on Fox
when he was there, He currently has the 3rd most watched daily news series
on cable TV... So WHY... would he suddenly fall into obscurity??? Just
because he's not on FOX???Do you REALLY give FOX that much
power???===Currently FOX is the most watched cable news
channel. I wonder if they will be in that same position next year. I seriously doubt Beck is going to fall into obscurity, just because he's not
on FOX daily.FOX didn't make Beck. I think he will go on.George Soros may have won THIS BATTLE... but I doubt Beck will just disappear
because he's not on Fox daily.===One GOOD thing is...
the MSM is already starting to cover some of the same stories only Beck reported
on before. Maybe we don't NEED him anymore!
I would just like to know how Glenn Beck is off the air and Howard Stern
remains. If we're going to toss out trash, lets start with the dirty stuff.
Extremism is ugly. Beck takes ugly to the next level.
Maybe FoxNews could hire George Soros to fill Beck's spot... or use his
$$$millions to hire more staff to write for the replacement show. Or... they could just stream MSNBC stories, or MoveOn or Huffington Post
stories for that hour... it may get a lot of viewers and advertisers??? I know
GE would be a BIG supporter! Maybe they could get Walmart and Coca-Cola back
advertising in that hour?If that's all it's about... why not?
Where is the Daily Show going to get its material now??
That menacing picture - with his finger pointed at me - as if to say
"you're next!" The guy is terrifying.
He just lost his job belching cow, or has he got another place to voice his hate
You cannot chase away over 300 advertisers and slip badly in the ratings without
consequences. His audience will continue to shrink until only the hard core
conspiracy theorists remain and then he will disappear in Boca Raton or some
other enclave of the rich to await the second coming of Christ in beatific
splendor funded by all the people he duped into believing his vacuous and
The less of Glenn Beck, the better. I think he casts a negative light on LDS
members, not because he represents their beliefs but rather because he is an
influential member of the media who happens to be mormon and many people
recognizd him as such. His extremist views do not represent the typical LDS
member's views in my opinion. We need more public figures like
Huntsman, more moderate sensible individuals, being scrutinized by the public as
"representatives" of the LDS religion in the media's eyes.
As a life long traditional conservative, I have never been fond of this guy. I
enjoy the more independent thinking of Michael Savage. Beck's ratings are
faltering because of his dogma, whereas maverick thoughtful conservatives like
Savage are exciting, interesting and totally passionate.
Oh boy, here we go. Let the hate speech begin.
Hey, Glen, try not to let the door hit your behind on your way out. Not a day
I had stopped watching Beck, I really like him, but just seemed to be the same
old thing every day. I would however be very interested in watching specials
done by him. He really has a lot of great information, but it is heavy and day
after day, gets kind of tiring. I also think with his eye issue, it will be
easier on him not to have to do the daily show. I wish him luck and am curious
to see what they put in that slot.
Charlie Sheen like appearances and rants, followed by the same rhetoric about
being too real for the MSM.For real entertainment there's a web site
quote test of "Who said it...Glenn, Charlie or Gaddafi" it's a hard
test, the similarities are uncanny.
'What's next for Glenn Beck?' - Title Who?
IMO... The real question isn't what will Glenn Beck do next... he will obviously
do what he's been doing (on CNN and then FoxNews)... just somewhere else.===The big question should be... what will FoxNews do
Next???They just lost their highest rated show... with no
replacement in sight. The question should be... What will FoxNews do next?-Will they replace Glenn Beck with another Glenn Beck?-Will
they see the light and hire Keith Olbermann to fill the spot? What
will FOX do next... seems to be the much more interesting question to me.
