Very happy to read that the work moves forward.
We worked in the Atl Temple back in 2000, it's great to see the images of the new building. The extra light inside will be great. It's a beautiful building!
Will you need tickets for the open house. I think in Rexburg they were required. But in Twin Falls you could walk in no problem. Did not need them.
Went through the (Atlanta)Temple at the Open House before re-dedication. What a beautiful edifice! My wife and I (lawfully married for 23 years) are going to be sealed there on April 21st 2011. We have been going to the LDS Church in Dalton, Ga. since 1991 and are converts. She grew up in the Church of Christ and I grew up "Southern" Baptist. After trying unsuccessfully to find a church we both liked, we prayed for Heavenly Father to help us be where we should be and not be mislead. (She was more fervent than I about that)Within a few days the missionaries were at out door! My wife joined the church in 1992. However, I did not become an "official" member until 2007. Slacker huh? Actually there were some legal issues for the first 10 years, and then the "Word of Wisdom" issue. In my case, tobacco. Now, Jolly Rancher candy and I are very close friends :-)
How blessed I am to have such a wonderful wife, the mother of our 4 children, who continued to have faith in me even when I did not! Finally, after 19 years, we are about to be sealed!
