    You talk about difficult decisions? It's the repub leadership in the house that has the courage to tackle medicare and other entitlements. The deNOcrats haven't the courage to touch them.

    I would have no problem cancelling ALL state and federal contracts with GE as long as they pay NO income tax.

    You're right. AND make sure that ALL income is taxed, including that squirreled away in off-shore tax havens and foreign banks.

    Repeal the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, and I'll bet the budget comes a lot closer to being in balance. See, I don't think the Republicans are serious about it. Make the difficult decision and raise those taxes to achieve your goal.

    I'm all for it, shut down federal government until these idiots can agree that they need a balanced budget and to stop overspending. A few days in shutdown can save trillions of dollars.
