Holy cow...somebody please tell me how these are chosen ?
Sure thing. Coaches are given ballots. They fill them out and return them. The votes are then tallied. Look at the boys there is a pdf of how many points each person received.
The 2A list looks pretty good. Remember it is based on coaches submitting their votes. Coaches votes for their own players don't have much weight. Stats help, as does playing in a tougher region. Region 13 was obviously the toughtest region in girls this year. Look how they finished Region 13 got 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th. Region 15 got 5th and Region 14 got 4th.
Region 13 had 4 of their 5 teams make past the play in round. Region 14 had one team make past the play in and Region 15 had 3 teams make it past the play in.
