Looking at the pdf file of the voting, it looks as if someone really didn't like the boys from South Summit or South Sevier. The top two vote getters got votes from 13 of 13 coaches while the SS boys only got votes from 12 of 13. If you take it to the second team level, the South Summit and South Sevier whom were top vote getters for the 2nd team may have out voted the Waterford kid who was the lower vote getter on the 1st team if they had received maybe just one vote.
Come on TheOfficialCall. You're joking, right? You're suggesting that 6 of the 7 top spots in 2A should go to S. Summit and S. Sevier (6 first team plus MVP)? I know it's an imperfect system but that would be silly. I have a better suggestion - why not make 1st team 10 spots like the Tribune and share the wealth a little more?
