The kid can play. It is an exciting move to see him at LB.

No question, Blechen will be PAC12 first team by the end of the season.

LB position is DEEP and will be for years to come.

Agreed Hedge.

Last year was a struggle, but I really love the talent in the system and the increased experience. I would love to see Spikes land at a position and flourish.

hedgehog ;
Sometimes you get a bit " out there " even from me . I don't see him yet as all PAC-12 LB this year but definitely will get some looks and the bonus is we have him three more years. It should take a couple of years for the PAC 12 coaches and sports writers to give him recognition, but I'm with you..it will come. I think this will be the biggest and most challenging year for Whitt and the coaches, but when this year concludes I think that UTE football will very noticeable on the national level. I am gassed up thinking of the future of Utah Football !

LB seems like a perfect fit for Blechen -- a position where he can not only cover receivers with his great speed, but can punish running backs and quarterbacks with his tremendous hitting ability.
Excited to see this kid play this year.

No question. Blechen is the Utes biggest hitter, it's part of his DNA. Can't wait to see what he does to heaps.

Should be fun.

All pac10 this year huh wedgie? LOL I suppose you've watched every closed practice session all the way from michigan while alternately discussing the quality of all linebackers in the pac10 with the coaches of every team to come up with that well "educated" analysis? LOL

Ann Arbor, MI

You're right ducky..just my opinion. You probably have a much better idea of how the Utes practices are going.... seeing you're a personal long time friend of Kwhitt. How do you know him again? I'd love to hear the "story" again.

And of course your opinion is pretty much always wrong on this site. That can be certified by simply looking at your 4-32 record of predicting BYU basketball games this year. But I never said I know Kyle although I have met him several times. I know his younger brothers and went to high school with them. Kyle is a few years older than I am. You see everyone went to high school with someone wedgie. The odds are good one of your current high school classmates might someday become something and then you can know someone also also.
