That would indicate that CJ has had 15 games where he has scored over 20 points this year. Not bad for a guy who averages around 20 minutes a game. Give him 30 - 40 minutes a game and he will do it every night.
Time to wake up to reality Corbin. CJ is your starter at the 2. Jefferson and CJ should be taking the majority of the shots on this team. Then the rest of the scoring should be spread out among the other 6 players. CJ should get 20 shots a game. Same with Jefferson.
The dynamics of this team have changed big time with the departure of DWill, CJ now has a much more important role and it is a role he is going to have to adjust to and realize his team needs him. I think he will embrace the role and we'll see him become more disciplined in his shot selection and in his pregame prep etc. That said, it may take him time to learn and get a feel for this new role. If he will accept the challenge and responsibility we will see a maturation of CJ that will result in a better player. Sometimes situations force us to grow, mature, improve, change etc, the changes in this team change CJ's role and if he accepts the challenge and goes for it, we may see more of what we saw last night. Lets hope he will and can, it will only make the Jazz that much better.
The CJ haters need to hope he can and will improve and embrace the new role/challenge. Corbin does need to keep CJ at the 2 spot though, he is much better suited to succeed if he plays the 2.
It appears to me that when CJ is a starter, he can just hit the ground running, not think and just play. When he comes off the bench, he has too much time to overanalyze, worry and think. Keep him as a starter! That was so fun to watch last night.
Go Jazzboys!!
Good job CJ. Show must go on.
i belive millsap is number 8 in the nba in field goal percentage at 53. cj is what? cj has one good game out of 10 if you depend on cj season will be lost.
cj is a role player who had 1 decent game,he loses alot more than he wins for us,lowest shooting percentage on the team,he`ll be gone this off-season,Corbin is showcasing him
