From my visits it is certain that Utah is growing - in to Little Los Angeles.
More smog, more strip malls and more pretensious people in McMansions.
It is a sad place that makes me glad we moved years ago. Still family ties but not a place we want to live.
If you think it is growing now, wait until Governor Herbert signs the amnesty bill allowing illegals to come to Utah.
I'm surprised that the article says people are moving here because it's more affordable. I bought my house in Sept 2009, and it has lost more than 100K in value. And now I'm stuck making payments on a house that will never recover its value. I, for one, will not stay here much longer.
With the high prices of houses (relative to other regions) and low wages, it's a wonder that anyone can "make it" here.
So Utah must be the Only True State. After all, growth=truth.
