Great players rise to the occasion.
Brandon will be missed but he only averaged 24 minutes a game due to foul trouble (either that or the coach really likes him so Coach Rose made Brandon sit next to him a lot).

Seriously, Brandon's shoes will be tough to fill but we have several other good players that can step up.

Very likely byu has had their last win of the season

Is it something with New Mexico's playing style that makes them different from SDSU and others making them the type of team that matches up well against BYU? I know even good teams tend to have at least one style they just can't match up with very well but I am not familiar enough with either of these teams to speculate on what that could be.

Really???? Looks like the Brandon fiasco is having a major impact on this game. My guess is the BYU team is just not emotionally ready to play the game. It begs the question if the dismissal will greatly impact any chances at a tourney run. Too bad.

As a Ute fan, I can attest that this underachieving Lobo team can blow big leads. I wouldn't count Jimmer and company out just yet.

BYU needs to get some confidence in their shots. Everyone is cold at every range. No matter what they say, this team has been distracted by the SDSU game and Davies.

The game now is as good as over. 20 pt blow out at the MC! I'm not feeling so good about the Y's chances now. Goodbye 1 seed for sure, and the 2 seed doesn't look too far behind.
