On the topic of smoking presidents. When Reagan was an actor he used to do commercials for Chesterfield Cigarettes.

Well speaking for O my wife told some one I quit and so as long as I don't get caught then it's true. I did quit. But you know if I get caught smoking then she either misspoke or I had a relapse.

The only difference between Boehner and Obama is that Obama had a desire to quit and did quit.

Quite a difference, when it comes down to it. One shows moral strength and one shows nothing but weakness.

The title: "Tell us, President Obama, how you quit smoking", and now for the truthful answer. He laughed himself to death over this act, "Rep. Christopher Lee resigned after sending a shirtless picture of himself to a woman he met on Craigslist. John Boehner reacted by crying. The scandal broke at 2:00 and by 6:30, Lee was out of Congress. Who says they can't get anything done?. Married Congressman Christopher Lee was looking for dates on Craigslist and describing himself as divorced. But in fairness, he's about to be."

I think I'll have a smoke now.

That is, if it's ok with you non smoker's?.

"One shows moral strength and one shows nothing but weakness."

Most people (outside of Utah) consider smoking a HEALTH issue that has nothing to do with morality.

@Timj: "One shows moral strength and one shows nothing but weakness."

Boehner tells us that smoking is legit. There's no law against it. He's a patriot for trying to support the American tobacco farmer who is raising and marketing a legal and legitimate agricultural product... not unlike the Iowan corn farmer, Maine potato farmer, and Hawaiian sugar cane farmer.

Come to think of it, refined sugar from the cane farmer is, in many ways, substantially more harmful than tobacco. It causes weight gain, diabetes, and heart problems... three of America's most pressing health issues... causing our health care costs to skyrocket. Come to think of it, so do potatoes and corn, both a source of carbohydrates (which the body immediately tuns to sugar). Go Boehner!!
