Fesenko was the difference maker in this game. Best game I think he has ever played as a Utah Jazz man.

I know everyone is going to go nuts on Fesenko's box score, but can I just say I'm still not impressed with him.

-Cousins had his way with him. (Jefferson had taken him out of the game until Fes came back in)
-He doesn't set good screens
-Where was he on the defensive glass?
-He's clumsy with the ball

Just listen to Harpring, he continually points out the spots that Fesenko doesn't get to on the floor.

This game was UGLY. I don't like blaming things on the refs but they were incredibly bias. Is years passed Sloan would have picked up a technical foul and probably been tossed.

As Chuck and Todd have said for two years, when Fes gets playing time, good things happen.

If Fes ever gets serious about his career, he has a solid future ahead of him. Glad Elson was out tonight so Fes could have an impact. Except at the foul line.

It's a sorry state of affairs when Utah can barely beat Sacramento.

JFFR: I guess hall of fame coaches also get preferential treatment in the NBA. It is what it is! Go Jazz! They need to get the #3 or #4 seed to do anything in the WC playoffs. Otherwise, if they escape the 1st round, they will more than likely be playing either the Spurs or Lakers in the 2nd round.

Common Hawai. Lately Kings beat Lakers in LA! shot down NO, played evenly 3.5 quarters with Celtics. Cousen looks for real. If Jefferson could pass that will be difference.
Good win Go Ak

Fes congrats, it took a break for Elson to get hurt otherwise he sits as usual. Why do we not talk about things he does well. For one, the Kings have to earn the points jump shooting and 3 point plays do not result on drives to the lanes. Feseneko has some quickness for spin moves, he is not that clumsy. He needs better hands and work on his foul shooting. But people need to stress what fes can do.

Bell it is good to see the resurgence, DWIL, Paul and AJ nice games. The way AJ started I thought he would get 30 or 40 but did not get back into the same groove after being subbed.

For once it was great to see the Jazz coaches finally focus on rotation and 3 point close out.

Sacramento made 6 3s in the first half, but zero in the 2nd half. That helps coming back and winning this game by 3 points.

CJ? No comment. Another garbage night

Cj its time. I hate seeing this inconsistant CJ

CJ Miles

CJ stinks right now. However he was the only Jazz player to make a 3 tonight. So it's not like anyone on the team is lighting it up from outside.

Bell and AK both played well so CJ was not needed tonight. But he had better wake up soon or the season will be over. There is no excuse for him to be shooting so bad. Get in the gym and take 500 shots a day.

Fes has plenty of liabilities but he contributed to this win. Elson is an okay player, better than I though he would be.

However, Fes would get better with more minutes. The Jazz could also use a decent shooting SG. However, I am pretty sure the front office signed Elson when they thought Fes was going to HOU. That changed and then Fes came back after Elson was signed.

I am glad to see a win and a DEN loss. If the Jazz do not get it together and quick, they will drop to the 9th or 10th seed in another couple of weeks.

The Jazz have not "stubbed their toe".

The Sloan system is disrupted on a regular basis and Sloan/KOC did not put enough outside shooting into this team to save it when the system fails and/or the paint is packed.

The Jazz are pretty bad right now. They are going to have to fix the outside shooting problems, play consistent defense and rebound or they are NOT making the playoffs.

CJ has always been streaky. He has come thru in the past and carried the team some nights. He has also stunk it up on occasion. His good nights make him worth his 3 Mill.

I have given up on expecting CJ to step it up and consistently hit good shots, rebound and play D. Some nights he plays well some he does not. He is okay as a bench player.

He will find his stroke pretty soon. Bell and AK have also had funks so I guess CJ can have one.

Not too bad for a team with no real sg or center.

A win,but just doesn`t feel good.Fes some good moments, hope he can get some steady minutes.Shorty Millsap, just another nice solid game.Miles do you really believe CJ is gonna put down the video games and go practice? I really wish he would

No trade rumors at all? Does not bode well.

It's easy to be critical of little things Fes doesn't do right now, but the truth is, he is our best hope right now at interior defense. We need him. We need to continue to play him.

An observation I had last night--Millsap does better playing off Fesenko compared to playing off AJ. I'd like to see more pairing of AJ/AK and Fes/Millsap at the 4/5. I'd love to get some minutes for Evans at SF with AJ/AK.

The second unit is a better functioning unit when Fesenko gets 15 to 20 minutes a game. It takes more than 4 or 5 minutes to get in a rythum. 11 pts., 7 rebounds, 1 steal, and 0 turnovers in 18 minutes of play. Then we won. That works for me. Keep working on those free throws big fella.

It's great to see a win but let's not get to excited. With just a 12-36 record the Kings certainly are not one of the better teams in the league.

How can you dethrone a hapless Queens team that has no business even being in the league? The Jazz are sqeeking out victories against opposition like the Kings (er Queens). The win over the Newguts in Denver means nothing when a team comes home and gets punked in their own crib, the way they were by the Sonics (er lightning, thunder) or whatever. What a name for a team. The commissioner obviously has put out an edict to lay off Kevin Durrant. Don't body up on him or touch him. The Jazz zone defense doesn't work against good teams, plain and simple. The Jazz are not playing well enough to be a playoff team, let alone a credible team. They are one of the teams, just like the old ABA Utah Stars to be disbanded and folded into the remaining league teams. But the mercenary owners will probably not do what they should do. The NFL and the MLB leagues should do the same thing....shrink the number of teams. There are not enough players in the world to support the high calibre play fans should demand, to pay the exorbitant prices for tickets, sponsors commodities, etc.

How about Fess' big assist to close the quarter? Harpring had it right on... Fess flipped it over Cousins to Bell for the buzzer beater. Kind of a goofy Globetrotters type play, but it showed more awareness than I thought Fess had. Still, he's got a LONG ways to go.
