I think CJ could be one of our best players if he would just put in the extra effort on his own time. Look at Kobe Bryant, he is one of the hardest working guys in the league, and it shows. CJ has all the talent he needs to be an all star, and he is our X-factor. When he is shooting well, we win most of our games. I'm not saying he doesn't work. He works hard enough to stay on good terms with Sloan, but if he put in the extra time on his own, he could be truly great.

I'm thinking the Jazz should pick someone up on a 10-day contract.

It's not gonna solve our problems, but atleast it would give me something to be excited about.

It is not that we lack effort or even execution, the facts are we just dont have the talent in key positions. We are stacked at the small forward position with AK, Miles, Hayward, Evans. We have depth at the PF/C with AJ, Milsap,Fes,Elson, although none of those guys are rebounding like they should. We have depth at the point, D-Will, Watson, Price. What is the glaring hole????

Shooting guard! Bell is not the answer here and putting price in to sub this position just does not work.

If the Jazz do not address the real need to upgrade the 2, we will continue to struggle. I truly think that if we can upgrade the starting shooting guard somehow, we will be a much better team.

Lets go Jazz!

I have been a CJ fan since he came to the Jazz and I agree with Dustin that CJ could be really good, an allstar quality player if he would learn how to work harder both on the court and on is own. I hope every game that CJ will have a good game but I have come to realize I can't plan on it. CJ has proven to be too inconsistent. I just keep hoping he will have the light turn on and he will realize what he needs to do to become that player he has the potential to become.
In the mean time I can just hope he and others like Paul and AK and AJ will have good games and give us a chance to win. DWill usually has a good game and is pretty dependable but he needs to not try to do it all on his own. He needs to demand more of CJ and help CJ learn to be more of a leader on this team.

Good suggestion JFFR why not while we have a short roster pick up a 10 day and give someone a shot and accually give them game playing time with our injuries you never know who or what we might get out of it .. and at the very least it gives us somthing to get excited about and also lets us know mngment is doing somthing to improve the team..I think that us jazz fans need to start making suggestions to jazz management on this forum.... maybe someone reads it .. maybe one of us can think of somthing that they read on here (doubt they read this but you never know) that somehow gets them to think and act....

We need a sg how about... Maurice Ager ...how about Jonathan Bender a 6'11 sf/sg.. he came back with the knicks last year and D antoni liked him ..(only signed a 1 year deal).. he is still young enough to play a few more years .. reminds me of when we picked up donyell marshall at the end of his career... i know he broke his finger last year that ended his season, but it should be healed by now ... heck why not give him a shot .. another guy who i think would be a good fit for us is joe alexander a lottery pick a couple years ago from west virginia ... im sure there are many guys out there who it would be fun to see us give a chance and who i think could really help us right now or in the future

Jazz Nation, I agree. Why don't you somehow, email your post to the Utah Jazz. Don't know if that is possible. Now, guys are going to say, I'm sure the Jazz organization has the expertise to know the Jazz' needs. But sometimes "you can't see the trees because of the forest'. Meaning, if you are too close to a situation, you somedtimes cannot see it clearly. Go Jazz!

How can Bell be making Suggestions when he is the problem him self. He is too old and slow to keep up with any one in the NBA. We need another 2 guard today. Even Ronnie is better than Bell at least he can play good D and split the Dfense. How is it that the Jazz will not make a move to do some thing to address the issue?
We should try to even maybe move Miles to the the 2 spot if he could run faster.
