Congrats Deron you did hard work . Who is best PG is still debatable.
Rose he is more like Deron scoring PG have speed advantage
Rondo pure point guard( have best supporting cast) , shoots a la Brewer
Westrook hybryd plays more like forward
Steve Nash still better PG even start slowing down
Paul can do everything, slow and short
Not clear advantage who gets ring that will be Best. Rondo?????

Kevin Love definitely deserves to be there. The Spurs do have an unbelievable record so I can't complain too much about Duncan in and Love out.

CP3 is way overrated in my mind. Fans are stupid and vote for whoever is the prettiest and gets the most publicity. Here is my list of best PGs in the NBA

    1. Derek Rose
    2. Rajon Rondo (tie)
    2. DWill (tie)
    4. Russell Westbrook
    5. Steve Nash
    6. Chris Paul

Congrats D-Will. What is disappointing though is this AM: on hoopshype Andre Miller was mouthing off about Blake Griffin being added to the All-Star team. I guess he wanted his man Aldridge included. He went on to state that rookies get too much respect in this league. Wow, that coming from someone who was a very good college player but quite frankly other than being durable he is nothing more than a second rate guard in this league and always has been! Kevin Love should also have been put on the team, so quit crying Andre and enjoy the all star break!

@cjm- learn to respect the game. Chris Paul is a fantastic player. Deron Williams should be honored to be compared to him.

Kinda wish DW would of been left off the team, might make him hungrier with something to prove.Duncan an allatar? His numbers, rounded off,13/9,Love has way better numbers,oh even my boys Jefferson and Millsap(the short guy who isn`t really that good,17/8) have better numbers

The NBA makes the All-star team a popularity contest and often the best players are not recognized for who they are.

That, of course, is just one of marketing strategies of David Stern who is most effective in turning sport into business.

there never has been and never will be any comparisons between chris paul and deron williams because its deron williams hands down. compared to where deron williams was first at his rookie season to where he's at now is pretty remarkable. for some stupid reason chris paul has just gotten more pub over the yrs and we'll never know why

My question is why the heck was Chris Paul voted as the West starter for PG? Deron Williams and Steve Nash are both far obviously better than him this year... Oh, thats right... fan voters are generally not the smartest people in the world. D Will should be starting and Steve Nash should be the back up. CP3, although really good, should not have made the all star game.
