Obama free markets? Looks like the wolf has put on a new suit. What does he believe? Can anyone trust this guy?
quid pro quo should become our motto.
It's ironic that Jeffrey Immelt is a strong proponent of outsourcing. President
Obama's drift to the center is the long awaited change we can believe in. His
far left supporters must be furious.
Well, hooray! Finally, we are talking about open markets. What about the
efforts of Democratic Senators to force China to reduce the value of their Yuan
against the Dollar? Already, hundreds of small businesses and many large
businesses (aka Walmart, etc.), and the American Public are suffering because of
higher prices due to this mis-placed zeal to curtail International Trade. I personally operate a small business which now depends on Chinese
imports (due to the loss of suppliers in Americe due to "some" greedy
Trade Unions) and my costs have increased more than 10% in one year because of
these mis-guided efforts by the aforementioned Senators who are the very ones
who say "How High" when their party leader says, "Jump". If this trend continues I will soon be out of business, along with
hundreds of other small businesses. And this will just add to the high level of
unemployment in America. By all means, let us say yes to a free and
open market system.
I don't get! What does our country make that's sellable to foreigners? Because
of an abundance of regulations and trade agreements, has'nt most of our industry
gone abroad? If we had anything to export, would'nt countries get it from China
instead?Maybe Obama loves this country and would do his best to grow
our economy. We need more than pep rally speeches.
Yep, Obama believes in a free market economy. Always has.Well,
except for the automotive industry. And airlines. And financial services. And
healthcare.OK, maybe I was wrong.
@Brave Sir Robin: Exactly what has the president done that is any different
from when the reps were in office?
