Elsewhere some have questioned if the killing in Tucson or a similar one had had
a Republican victim if the "right" would accept that the killing was
not fueled by leftist rhetoric. The problem with this question is
that the one public figure killed in the Tucson massacre was a conservative
Republican federal judge. The main victim was a republican and I
have seen 0, and I say 0, serious suggestions that any recent rhetoric of
liberals or Democrats fueled the killing. I have seen a few incidents of people
saying this to mock the absurdity of the accusations against some people on the
right, but I have not seen it carried on in a serious manner. I have definantly
not seen it be the main focus of a report in a regularly published media forum,
as have been attacks on Mrs. Palin in places like the New York Times.
This man truly knew how to untite people. Something that infuriated the
government to no end.
