Got some Laker fans voting.

I gave us a C+,if Memo comes back strong and Miles and Raja keep playing well,we could easily raise that mark.CJ could very well be the key to this season,he needs to step it up EVERYDAY

8.7% of fans voting "F"? I don't think we should be allowed to count votes from jealous Laker's Fans!

Although the home games have been frustrating to watch at times, prior to the season I would have never predicted them to be where they are now. I've enjoyed watching this team this season (most of the time). I miss Korver and Matthews; but, I love having Raja back and I'm still hopeful that Hayward can develop...

I gave the team a B. But if I had to grade each player there would be only one A, two or three B's and a bunch of C's. So if I averaged that out, that's more like a B- or C+. Some say that CJ is the key to the Jazz playing better. What if AK stepped it up or Raja or Hayward? I don't think it's any one guy. It just has to be somebody. They have done that the last few games and look at the results. Keep it up! Consistency is the key.

If I grade the defence I have to give that a C-. On average the jazz score 2.6 more points than the opponent. The teams with the best records score five to seven more points on average. The defence has to get better. So far we have not shown that we can stop teams. I hope we can get that grade up for the second half of the season. The Jazz for the most part have been fun to watch. Thanks for that.

I vote a B+ because they are a little better than I thought they would be. However, The team was red hot and cooled a bit and lost some games they should have won. Also, the slow starts are still a big negative and holding the team back from being consistent and among the elite. They are outside that realm currently and probably will be all season.

The Jazz go as CJ goes. You all should start praying that CJ is on every night for the rest of the year if the Jazz are going to get a #1 in the Wild West.

Here's what the Jazz need:

More from Bell- he's played good defense, but he hasn't been that reliable of a shooter. He's starting to come around this past month. If he could be more reliable, it would be huge!

Consistency from Miles- we are starting to see it?

Memo- I think Memo coming back is gonna be huge for this team. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Jefferson start

Aggressiveness from Big Al- I don't think he has much of a killer instinct. He's having fun winning... I feel that is his attitude right now and its not good enough. He has attacked the rim a lot better lately. We need more of that

I don't really think anyone else needs to step up. It's good to see AK being so active lately, if he could still knock down 40% of this three's that'd be nice. If Gordon contributes that'd be great. Frank and Fes just need to come in and stop people every now and then. And Earl and Price bring the same thing every night.

re: CJ Miles

" You all should start praying that CJ is on every night..."

That would lead to alot of disappointed people with unanswered prayers given the fact Miles is pretty inconsistent and gee, its only his 5th season!!

On a more serious note though, who realistically thought a team with half a new roster would have a better record at this stage of the season vs. last?

If you did you are either lying or know nothing about the NBA/basketball. You don't add this many new guys without going through some bumps.

The fact they are better record-wise than last season is a testament to this coaching staff and this system. ANY other, and I mean ANY other team would be hard pressed to add this many guys and juggle roles and be 4 games better.

Of coure fans have convenient amnesia which is where they forget realism and watch the Jazz when they play well and then of course expec them to play that good every night.

Just like when your work office loses half your staff and then adds new people and juggles job responsibilities.

Smooth as silk right?

I'd give them a C for effort...i thought they would pick up the pace by now...but they are still struggling...im just hoping for the best...there would be a log jam at the 4-5 slot next season when ante tomic comes...im pretty sure Tomic would not make a huge impact...i saw him play a few times...quick feet...decent finisher...lacks physical play on D...he could be great...but right now...he needs to toughen up...and polish his moves...whatever happened to Maciej Lampe?
