There are those like The Ohio State University president saying "huh?"

There are those like wedge and chris saying "huh?"

And there are the vast majority saying "well deserved, nicely done!"

I will always like and admire Coach Edwards. He put Utah on the NCAA Football map so to speak. He is a classy gentleman and is now a legend of College Football.

As a loyal Ute fan, I can humbly acknowledge the wisdom and deservedness of this award. Classy guy. Pining for the days of Coach McBride and Coach Edwards again. Maybe Kyle and Bronco can try to live up to this awesome legacy.

By far the best college coach ever in the state of Utah. Doubt anyone will come close to his accomplishments.
    Congratulations coach Edwards

First, to Esquire, I completely echo your comments. Second to Oh Please, you got to have a bit of evil in you to try to knock down a really great man. That mirror must look really bad to you.

Kunzer-Murphy couldn't bring herself to mention the national championship....

Edwards is under appreciated for his contribution to the game of football on the college and professional level. He was a trailblazer in his approach to offense, and the assistant coaches he mentored went on to make huge changes in the game. Edwards had more influence on today's game than anyone else alive. On top of it, it never went to his head. He is a great human being.

Wow! How about that honor for LaVell Edwards and BYU. And the quote from the MAACO Las Vegas bowl official touting Coach Edwards' contribution to post-season football.

Guess all those wins at the Las Vegas bowl really were watched by folks at the NATIONAL level.
