    I don't know that McConnell would have been significantly different from Alito or Roberts. I am happy to have him in education though, so that law students can learn from his experience.

    I spoke several months ago to a man who insisted Barack Obama had never had a job in his life. I hope he reads this article, and sees that not all conservatives have such a dismal view of our President's abilities.

    McConnell has a good legal mind.

    Having said that, I couldn't more strongly disagree with Mr. or Ms. Furry1993.

    We would have been a lot better off if McConnell had been nominated for the Supreme Court. He well knows the law, and is not an ideologue. Instead we got stuck with Roberts and Alito. This country is much worse off as a result.
